Mekanism Mod is an independent tech mod that brings low, mid, and high tier machinery to Minecraft. The mod doesnt have an actual goal, and youll understand this when you see all the random content Mekanism contains, from jetpacks to balloons.
By the time youve been using Mekanism for a while, youll have a near-indestructible suit of Obsidian Armor, be obtaining four ingots for each ore you mine, have the ability to fly wherever you want with the hydrogen-powered jetpacks, and have a cute robotic friend following you around while you mine.

Minecraft Forge
Install Tutorial: Please follow these 4 steps to install the mod.
- Make sure you have already installed Minecraft Forge.
- Locate the minecraft application folder.
- On windows open Run from the start menu, type %appdata% and click Run.
- On mac open finder, hold down ALT and click Go then Library in the top menu bar. Open the folder Application Support and look for Minecraft.
- Place the mod you have just downloaded (.jar file) into the Mods folder.
- When you launch Minecraft and click the mods button you should now see the mod is installed.
